Default HID kit install - how did you do it ?

My halogen bulbs are the H7 version with the plastic adapter. What did you use to keep the HID replacement bulb in the headlight ?
(The metal clip closes over the adapter to keep the h7 bulb tight. The adapter doesn't work for the HID version)

What kit did you buy? Where did you get it? Are you sure it is the correct one? Have you tried some searches on this forum regarding headlight upgrades?
See this.

I doubt a stock D4S HID bulb would fit or work on a halogen OEM equipped car. You may be better off just getting a brighter H7 bulb.

It appears you may be missing parts and especially instructions.

2007 has h7 bulb, not the nice socketed h11 bulb. That black base is from the es350. I might send them this pic and ask the company what they think.
The bulb can fit into the bulb place. But the clip that holds the bulb in place needs that adapter there.

h7 w/ es350 adapter (black base) vs H7 HID aftermarket

It does need the adapter.

The bulb itself is hold by a metal clip/wire, after you clip it you put the adapter. In this case you remove the black rubber from the hid, you clip the hid bulb as you would do with the halogen and call it a day. That's what I did.

They apparently failed to include all the required parts with your bulbs. Let us know what they say after you contact them.

I mixed up H7 and H11 because after finding that site and seeing the kit for the ES350 I began looking at upgrading the H11 bulbs on my 2011 HS250h.
