I’m looking to buy an ES350 (I’m thinking ‘13-‘16) What are the best years to buy? Is there a year that’s best?

As with most brands, go for the latest low mileage Lexus you can afford. The 2018 MY has most of the newer safety options available and they are well worth having. Depending on your budget, the earlier years are still OK but without various options that came later. I had a 2013 but wanted the added safety features so bought a 2019. Rear cross traffic braking saved my butt several times from idiots walking behind my car as I was backing out. Really worth having. GOOD LUCK!

Ditto to the suggestion to get the safety features: blindspot warning, pedestrian & cross traffic alert, proximity to fixed object alerts, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control and emergency braking. Our 2016 ES 300H has these and I use them all.

I really wanted the Radar Cruise that I got on my 16 ES350. It is really worth having. You set it at 70mph, and if the person in front slows down, it automatically appiles the brakes to bring you to matching his speed. Same if someone jumps in front of you, it slows your card down automatically. If the driver in front speeds up, the car also speeds up to what ever the set point was at.

Technology package on my 2013 Lexus ES350 includes blind spot monitor, ore collision and mitigation, lane departure, rear cross traffic, radar cruise, self leveling headlights etc
My reply is to all of you .. sorry not to savvy on use if this site yet, especially using the cell phone 🙂.
i am pretty sure mine is the Ultra Premium model. Has everything or close to it for that year. The 3.5 engine is to me the single most important feature on the ES350, no matter what year.
