Anyone running BC racing BR series coilovers on their ES?
Will be needing an upgrade soon and was wondering how the BC Racing Coilovers ride if not set to a harsh position. I understand you can set the height adjustment separate from the spring compression, and can get a 1" lower with a softer (not soft like stock) ride.
If anyone has run these, thoughts are appreciated.
I had BC on my 07 GS450h before. You can lower car up to 6 inches easily. You cant have the setting on struts too soft or the car will bottom out if lowered too much. Anyway there is the sponge foam insert that stops the travel too much.
The ride is much firmer even on lowest setting
Struts last a good time but strut mounts suck and deteriorate in 4-7k
Thanks. I will probably leave it as is for the ride. Added wheels/tires and some exhaust just playing around. I have thought many times about moving to a GS or LS, but for a daily driver the dependability and gas mileage is hard to pass up. Thinking of painting the rear spoiler black to match the roof.
