Default Interstate battery: NEW scratch and dent

Went to my local interstate shop and was getting their $210 battery. The sales person said they have scratch and dent brand new ones for $60. The battery looked great to me and the salesperson as it was new, we couldn't even find a ding on it. Maybe a small ding on the metal post... Has anyone else went with the new scatch and dent battery route and saved $100 or more?

I did. Scratch and dent stuff is a great deal especially if you ain't gonna see it.

I'm suspicious because I never heard of a battery scratch and dent but I'd probably buy it for $150.00 less. Especially if it was new and had the factory warranty... What a deal...

I've been using Interstate batteries for many years with their "blems". I guess they are the same. Had no problems at all.
