Default 2016-2018 Lexus ES350 is better than 2019+ models

I just had an extensive try-out today at my local Lexus Dealer

sorry guys. There is something off about the 7th generation ES350 (2019+). The longer wheel base and the response seems a bit off. Also I feel like it’s cheaply made compared to 2016-2018 models.

2013-2015 are a bit outdated. The best of both worlds is the 2016-2018 upgrade. The wheelbase and drivetrain are both perfect. the 2019+ models are trying to be an LS but fails miserably..

Apart from its stiffness (the suspension is stiff on 7ES), 7ES is better than 6ES in every single way.

The suspension on 6ES is perfect. seats are perfect. The size of the car is perfect. 7ES specific the American made ones are trash. I have seen the Japanese ones and they are slightly better

I owned a 6th gen Japan built UL ES and my parents own a US built 2019 Lux. Their 7th gen is built as well as mine was and I actually think it rides better than mine did. If I was still in the market for an ES, I would have no issues with purchasing the 7th gen.

It seems like someone hacked an old account and is just looking for attention.

That’s your opinion although I doubt it.

I was actually shopping for a 3 family members and they all had the same commebts.

the 2016-2018 Lexus ES350 rides better than the new ones. The longer wheelbase made it worse and the simplicity of the 2016-2018 was better.

They also commented on the crappy seats and the cheapiness of the materials used on the dash that scratches easily among other issues..

You doubt that's my opinion? LOL

If you're not just trolling the 7th gen ES, which trim did you test drive? What was the tire pressure at? And FYI, they started cheapening the interior between the 5th and 6th gens. I had no issues with mine, but the dash did scratch easy.

The 7th. gen ES built in Kentucky, USA is equal in every way to the 6th. gen car. In some ways it is superior and the addition of numerous safety systems is the icing on the cake. BTW I owned a 2013 and now a 2019...

Then drive the 6th Gen.
I drove it, you can’t compare it with the 7th Gen except for the softer suspension but on the other hand it drives like a Buick.

The longer wheel base just helps with the space inside, although it is only 2 inches longer.
You will never notice any difference between the two cars when it comes to drivability because of 2 inch longer or shorter wheelbase.

You’re just a troll.

I test drove both the 6th and the 7th generations several times. I was looking at used low mileage examples. I didn't like the 7th gen. It did feel like a cheaper car, the seat was less comfortable and the ride stiffer. I also just didn't like the style of the interior and the tail lamps. The front end I do like on the 7th gen better, but the 6th gen has more traditional styling which I also fancy.

The other main reason I went with the 6th gen is due to traditional 2gr-fe engine and a U660e 6 speed automatic transmission.

The 7th gen has better safety features for sure, and the navigation is more modern, I am sure.
But, I found a sweet deal on a 2018 with only 26K miles and bought it after a thorough inspection. It looked and felt like a new car.

We all have nice cars, so no point to be hostile to one another.

my 2018 es 350 is built in Kentucky ... supposedly it has better everything as far as quality/ safety but I already had the amp die twice and a check engine on evap system. before that I had the battery die twice from the dealership after multiple investigations it led to the after factory install of the window breakage sensors... they were not going to sleep when the car was and was constantly communicating for whatever reason causing the battery to die. God knows what else awaits me.
