Default Tire fitment question 2017 ES350

Time for new tires. The current is Michelin Primacy 225/45/18 but I’m wondering if going to a 235/45/18 Pilot AS4 will fit rims?

Unsafe. I would not recommend. Go with the tire size specified for your car, if the rims are stock, look at the door frame.
Michelin is a good brand usually.

245/45/18 would be the best size. They look better, will not rub and more tire contact with the road. Take a look at the wheel and tire thread on here. Most folks upsize to the 245/45/18. 235/45/18 will fit as well, but the 245's look better. I have run 17's, 18's and now 20's on mine.

The ES 350 from the factory is notorious for the speedometer being slightly off. A larger tire corrected my speedometer.

Here is mine with 20's

Beautiful car you have!!

I just put a new set of tires on my '13 ES350. Had 225/45/18, decided to step it up to 245/45/18. In my opinion the 245's are the tire size that the car should have came with. Car rides smoother, handles better, and looks better. When going 70 mph on the highway, the speedometer still reads 71... which surprised me a bit. No noticeable difference in gas mileage, but since tire weights and compounds differ from manufacturer to manufacturer, that's a bit anecdotal.
