Hi, I have a mystery flap of fabric under each of the driver and passenger seats attached to the outside back edge. There's a hook on each but I have no idea where to attach it. Thoughts?

Not sure, but it looks like it should go up--be vertical-- and clip onto something.

I'll do the contortionist thing and see if I can get a better view (doubtful).

Looks like someone removed the seats and didn't reattach the fabric side cover.

I just found the same thing on my passenger seat which, to my knowledge, has never been taken out. I fumbled around a bit and found something on the top, outside of the seat rail where the plastic hook could be attached. I did not find that piece on the driver seat but I know that seat was removed when I had the seat bolster replaced two or three years ago so I figure the guy who did the work just eliminated it. Probably on there so the "lady" in the back seat wouldn't scuff her expensive shoes on bare metal. Meh....don't stick your feet under the seat.


I also found a large, white plastic hook (like you'd find on a coat hanger) attached to a piece of firm plastic and that hook was laying loose. Could not find a point to which it could be attached and am not going to bother removing the seat to inspect more closely. Lots of "junk" under those seats.
