This is nice... (thank you op)
With the (nav) screen up at the top, I'm guessing it won't be a touchscreen (similar to the new GS) - but isn't it missing the mouse like controller near the gear shift to select the options in the Nav?
Or is this the model without Nav and that display screen is a non-interactive one - only for display?

Looking at those pictures, Its very nice, the wheelbase definitely does seem to be longer than the previous model, but the one thing that caught my eye is that engine, it seems to be a bit on the small to be a V6, I know that I am speculating, but to me on this ES250. looks like it is equipped with a 4 cylinder engine.
I wonder what the fuel economy figures are going to be on this new model.
Anyways, enough speculating, it's always better to wait on something official.

I wonder if the model sold in the U.S. will have any different trim pieces etc.? The front end seems overdone in the picture. Maybe it looks better in person but it seems like it could be toned down a bit. I'm anxious to see it in person.

The interior and side profile look much better than the current generation. Post #10 summarizes the nose flawlessly. As an ardent Lexus fan I have never been a fan of the ES except the 3rd generation. I think of ES as a Camry with lipstick (I'm not trying to insult the ES owners, and I believe the ES is a great car).

I got ES350 2012, last year of the run. I did it on purpose actually. I would like to keep this car for a long time, and last year usually is the best in quality and most TSBs are resolved.
Any time they make design changes and upgrade power-train, there is always a chance for screw up (like it happened with 2007 ES350 transmission software).

Glad that I bought the 2011. I can't take the new front end........I've seen the new GS at the dealer already and I guess Lexus has adopted this look for the line. The dash/instrument panel design also now appears to mimic the look of Mercedes/BMW/Audi.......I prefer the "old" vertical stack design myself. The analog clock.......Infiniti? The touchscreen is obviously gone. This may backfire on Lexus. I may have to rethink this opinion on actually seeing the real thing, but I'll be waiting about three years in, before thinking about buying anyway. This car IS still based on the Camry platform, by the way.
