Too Much for UL ES350?
I test drove the 2013 ES350 yesterday. It had everything in the book loaded on it. I actually loved the ride. It is a bit more "sporty" in handling and acceleration. I have friends with the "true" sports cars and Houston roads make their life miserable. I actually took the ES down some bumpy Houston 3rd world roads and it handled suprisingly well.
The interior is sweet. Nothing in it's size and class has as nice an interior.
Online I calculate the Invoice for a fully loaded 2013 ES at $44,200. The dealer won't take any less than $47,000 which is right at MSRP.
How much do you think that the dealers prices will come down say in 3 - 6 months. Is it worth it to wait or should I just pull the handle on the deal now?
Thanks.
Mark

It'll be significant. I bet we're paying $500 over invoice in 3 months.

On Lexus site they still don't have any pricing except base? It still shows it a a "future" vehicle, but "available now". Strange
I know other sites have pricing but would be nice if Lexus did

I know you can buy the luxury/nav model for 1k over invoice, not sure how much more in demand the UL is.
I had UL before on an LS because I wanted every bit of coolness, but honestly it doesn't do a lot for me anymore.
Sunroof for backseat passengers? Doesn't benefit me. Same for things like passenger side memory seats - had it on two cars never used it.

Toyota dealers were deeply discounting the 2012 Camry last January after it had been on the market 5 months so I would expect the same for the 2013 ES350 - especially if a fairly widely predicted serious stock market downturn this winter comes to pass.
