Sounds like you got a great deal!

What's the $1k off certificate?

It was for volunteering in the US open. Lexus is a sponsor.

Hi - I'm located in SoCal but would travel for the right deal. Could you share the name of your dealer? Right now I am at about 1250 below invoice - your deal is much better obviously.

Thanks, Bill G

Here in Idaho we only have one Lexus dealer so they are not very motivated to wheel and deal. I had to get a quote from a Spokane, WA dealer to get a lower price. With just a simple phone call to Lexus of Spokane they reduced the MSRP by $1500.00. The Boise dealer matched the deal but I am sure traveling to California, Oregon or Washington (Seattle) I could have got a lower cost but after figuring in travel costs I was ok with the deal I got...however after seeing some of the costs others posted maybe I should have held out for a lower cost. Regardless we loved the car and being 70ish this may be our last ride as we tend to keep our cars for 10+ years.

I agree with other posts regarding the Nav/radio issues but guess we'll just have to live with a few software inadequacies. Let me know if there are any (no cost) updates to the software.

Thought I got an amazing deal when the dealership mistakenly charged my $5000 deposit as $500, but then it became just a regular "good deal" once they figured that out.

sujathagre, looks like a great deal to me, just about $4k off MSRP. I only got $2k off but my ES300h UL was a special order.

That's about 10% off msrp. I wonder how close that is to true invoice. Fantastic deal, but also near end of model year. Nonetheless a fantastic deal that may be difficult to match by others.

Pricing is dealer related. I traveled 100 miles to Atlanta, saving about $5K. Between trade-in & discount off MSRP, local dealership wouldn't compete. I found it helpful doing my research up front and dealing only with Internet Sales.

Default % off of a new ES350 MSRP?

Does anyone have a good figure for the percentage off MSRP on a "typical" sale of a new ES350?
I am currently in the market to buy one...Thanks

Ricolex: 10-12% should be your target. Check Truecar. Suggestion: Always look for negotiating the the very base model with zero options. The advantage is that the dealer will always have vehicles with some options for sure. When you negotiate a final price on the vehicle - do the math of the % off and then change to the vehicle you want and ask them to apply the same %off. Again the the best deal is possible when you are willing to walk away. They will call you to get your business. Look at car buying tips dot com also. I used Truecar and the tips website I mentioned to get a fantastic deal...Well I could have been lucky that day too.

Best wishes!!
