Default Price increase in the middle of the year?

My local salesperson says that lexus may be raising the price of the new ES soon. Is a price increase in the middle of a model year common?

Not uncommon, but its typically very small, like $150 small.

He's trying to get you to buy now, sales 101. The longer you wait the better deal you'll get, whether they raise the price or not.

Joeb, were they $150-$250 total, or each increase was $150-$250 for a cumulative increase of $600-800?

Cumulative.
I was looking for a silver/black UL's on autotrader and cars.com.The closest one I found was in Chicago and I called and made a deal with a deposit.Leaving for Chicago a few days later I found one in VA which was much closer. The ES w/UL in VA had a list price of $45972.About $250 more than the ES UL in Chicago.
The dealer Pohanka in Chantilly,VA met the Chicago numbers and absorbed the $250 more on the sticker and the $161 Doc fees of McGrath in Chicago.Chantilly Lexus gets $399 Doc fees.
I notice when searching for a silver/black UL there were 3 different list prices and I was told the equipment was the same and it was in year price increases.

Here's a few here with my list price and some higher list prices on UL's like $46151 and a $48,156 list of one that may have been ordered with Dynamic Radar Cruise Control.

Wow. So even among dealers at the same exact time, msrp can be different ? Where's the best place to find dealer cost or invoice? Is kbb or edmunds accurate ?
