Tire Brands on the 2013 ES350 & 300h
I thought it would be interesting to start a thread to find out what brand tires Lexus is installing on both the ES350 and ES300h. If you will, would you list the model ES you own and the brand of tire installed at the time of delivery? Thanks.

My car came in with the Bridgestone and I asked the dealer to switch me over to Michelin - which they did! I just checked - they are the Michelin Primacy. We have the 2013 ES 300h

I have the 17" Michelin Primacy MXV4 tires on my 2013 ES 350, Nebula Grey.
I wonder why some ES 350's have the Bridgestones? I have the optional 10-spoke wheels, instead of the standard 6-spoke. Might that make a difference?

I have requested Michelin Primacy tires on my ordered ES350 if it comes with Bridgestones and kind of have a "we'll try" promise from the selling dealer. They have always come through with Michelins on prior purchases if necessary.

Is it a big deal to insist on Michelin vs Bridgestone ? Does it say on the window sticker which tires are on it originally ?
I had the same Bridgestone turanza on my Camry hybrid wear out at less than 35k miles.

Is it a big deal to insist on Michelin vs Bridgestone? You're the customer, it's your car. The dealer is out to please you, if he wants the sale. With that said, NO, it's not a big deal. It's a simple wheel swap if the vehicle you want is not equipped with the tire you want and another ES is.

The Turanza Serenity is a good tire, but the OEM tire is the Turanza EL400.
Those tires came on my 2010, and I replaced them with the Primacy which I also had on my previous ES300 after about 15k miles, and the difference is startling. The Bridgestones are fine when new, but they get loud and lumpy quickly as they wear. My Primacys have about 22k on them now and they're still great.
