USB Will Not Play Music
#17
I used to use a USB stick, but I've gotten spoiled listening to FLAC and Apple Lossless files, both of which do not play in our cars from a USB.
So I started using Rocket Player on my Galaxy S5 (files stored on 64GB SD card in phone) and playing via the Bluetooth system. Since I have a Mark Levinson system in my ES300h, I really love the high quality of audio that it produces.
I also run Waze on my phone and I hear all the alerts get piped through the audio system while I'm driving.

Different USB Music Problem
Greetings! I just got my 2012 IS 250 (with Nav) today. I had been driving a 2012 Kia Sportage that I used my 32g USB 3.0 drive for music, and it worked great. So, I plugged it in to my Lexus, and it plays, but it the sound skips, kinda like the fast forward button is being held down. I tried to reformat the drive, making sure it is Fat32, copied a folder over, and it still does the same thing.
This was a letdown for me. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks!
Oops newbie mistake, wrong model forum, sorry. Could still use advice, but will post in the right forum.

Here is what I found and it works
This is for the 2016 Lexus RX350
1. USB 2 AND USB3 work. I've tested both and they play fine.
2. MP3 and WAV are files I tested. WMA probably works too.
3. USB Drive MUST be formatted to FAT32 only. Other formatting doesn't work.
4. You CAN use folders. Just go to the browse icon within the SOURCE-->USB.
5. You can also put files in the root directory.
6. Picture ICONS of the artist or album showed up but I don't know how or why.
That's it!
Good Luck,
URSA

2017 Lexus NX 200t USB issues
Hello...My first question on this forum. I placed about 300 songs on a 2.0 flash drive. I placed it in the slot and worked fine. I removed the flash drive to add more music to it. Now I placed back in and states "no readable files found". ???? It is a 2.0 flash drive and all MP3 format. Anyone have any ideas? I've ordered some new flash drives, not sure if that is the issue? I appreciate the help.
