Nav Traffic Issue
2013 LEXUS ES350, when in an active destination the Nav Traffic Icon does not give the option it used to which is "Traffic Jam in 5 miles, do you want to reroute?" anyone have any experience with this? (obviously when traffic is present)

2013 ES350. I'm having the same exact same problem. In addition, when traffic is detected there is very rarely an announcement saying how far ahead the traffic is. After manually selecting Route-Detour-Around Traffic, the navigation screen shows the same display as before. There is no indication regarding whether or not the route is the same or a new route. If it did change the route, there is no indication of what that new route is.
I've also driven and found that the new 2013 ES300 Hybrid and the 2013 GS350 also have the same problem.
The Lexus dealership service department also experienced that with each of these three vehicles, the traffic features in these cars do not function as described in their manuals.

I had different experience, it told me that there is an accident on the way, I decided to go anyway since traffic was not bad and when i got there in 5-7 minutes there was no accident. I guess go figure..

I noticed as well. It used to ask me to reroute and now it just warns me that there is traffic on my route xx miles ahead. I wondered why it didn't give me the option and didn't think of it again until now (a few days later). I wonder what's up with that?

I am not certain but I believe you only get rerouted if there is a serious delay and if the option to reroute is on.
@ es300h The system only displays the info it receives which is reported from a 3rd party service. It is not always accurate for numerous reasons - garbage in, garbage out. But in general, I have found traffic to be pretty accurate with longer delays (which show in RED), while shorter delays shown in YELLOW and are just a few minutes are hit or miss.
