So you and I are in the same boat, so to speak. The dealer told me the same thing, but Lexus customer service told me that the HIDs are part of "the package" but could not specify which package. And at one point in the conversation the stated they were on all but the base model vehicles. Since I could not get a strait answer, I'll just have to wait until early March when my order arrives at the dealership to see what comes in.

I had the same question. Yesterday I received my ES300h with the UL package and Lane Departure. My car came with HID even though it was not mentioned on the window sticker.

ESh888 thanks for posting. I'm hopeful that will be the case. I did some additional searching on the internets and found a review site or two that also mentioned HIDs in conjunction with the LDA option. I'll know soon enough as the vessel with my special order just entered the Gulf of Mexico and should be ready for pickup sometime around the 2nd week of March.

I'm the opposite of you guys. Trying to get a luxury package (specifically navigation and backup camera) without HID. Two weeks later and I can't get an answer from the dealership.
