Smile Radio/USB Issue ES350

After 3 months, have not had any major issues with car, no sqeaks, rattles, all tech features working as intended with exception of one minor issue, when you shut car off when using USB mode, it will default to Fm Radio, does not happen all the time but when it does, can be annoying, manual says should come back up in same mode as when you shut it off. Guess i shoudnt compain if this is only issue i ever have , Love the car so far,

unowned. [I] leave mine in as well, As said earlier, does not do it all the time, only periodically, sometimes will come back immediatly(USB) or may take a couple minutes, certainly not the end of the world, but I hesitate to bring to dealerships attention, sometimes they can make matters worse

Thanks

I would try a different flash drive if you have one. It could be it's not registering it on startup because the flash drive "on it's way out" or the drive is just too slow to load so the lexus system times out really fast on initial powerup.

I have my iPod (3rd Gen) hooked up to the USB which I leave it plugged in all the time. On a few occasions, not all the time, it did not recognize it when I started the car. Had to unplug and re-plug it in to get it to work.

I have had the issue where it stops recognizing it, too. If I switch sources and go back to it, it seems to connect again. It does start from the beginning, though. If I can find a 128GB flash drive for cheap, that will be the end of the iPod for me.
