Heated Wood Steering Wheel Woodgrain Trim

I have to agree it would be great to have a full heated steering wheel, it is a luxury car. I guess companies have to chep out on something and I guess this was one and no compass on the mirror is the other. I just hope the above chart is right.

Its not trivial, its a luxury car. The whole point of a luxury car is to have luxurious materials and features that one does not "need", but that one "wants". I'd would rather see them just not have a heated steering wheel than do it in a half assed way.

A wise man, I don't recall who, once said:
You can please all of the people some of the time
Some of the people all of the time
But you can't please all of the people all of the time.

No problem. I just agreed with Chewbach that everybody has their own priorities and a fully heated steering wheel or partial one is like the leather interior (not fully), is not something to be upset about. You're right about 6 pages on the heated steering wheel. Shouldn't be such a big deal.

The difference between the fully heated wheel and the full leather interior is that Lexus is the only manufacturer to cheap out on the heated steering wheel. Every manufacturer only uses leather seating surfaces and vinyl and synthetic leather on the backs and sides. Thats commonplace at that price point.
The partially heated wheel is going to be immediately noticed by a customer that Lexus is going to be trying to get as a conquest over a rival brand. A BMW owner, Mercedes owner, Buick owner, Lincoln owner, whatever who has that feature is going to immediately note that its missing on the Lexus. Which creates opportunities for dissatisfied customers like the OP. I think it would be better if it were just missing, as opposed to there but in a "on the cheap" sort of way.
Its the same with the power mirrors and trunk on the GS. We can all say we don't care, and I don't care, but it is an issue when Lexus is trying to take buyers from other brands. Its this sort of small potatoes cost cutting that I have an issue with, a few dollars for a fully heated wheel, or power folding mirrors is so worth removing that objection from the consumer's mind.

It's people addressing their opinion, and I believe they have the right wether it is one page or 20. When a company half asses something people will talk about it. I cannot understand why people would be bothered that people. Maybe Lexus shouldn't half *** things and people would not complian.

However, I still think it would be in their best interest to disclose the fact that it's partially heated in the brochure. It is misleading.
