ES300h is a GREAT car... I would however like to see heated rear seats at the very least. Also, would like to have the feature back that when I hold the unlock button my windows go down.... Otherwise, I have ZERO complaints. Especially when I am getting north of 40 MPG on a regular basis.

Constant outdoor temperature reading
I would like to see a constant outdoor temperature reading remaining on at all times without having to scroll through the display on the steering wheel. Maybe located on the Navigation screen or in a corner of the the rear view mirror.

Not sure what you mean. My outside temp is always displayed.

If you go into the settings for the information display (which are accessed via the display button on the steering wheel), one of them gives you the option to select which information remains on the screen continuously and which information can be accessed by scrolling.
I believe that the default option keeps the outside temperature on all the time.

outside temp
Agreed. What I mean is that I would like to see the temperature at all times, including visible from the passenger seat without sacrificing the loss of cruising range or other information that would be displaced. The outside temp would ALWAYS be on.

I cycled through all settings and my outside temp is ALWAYS displayed. Did you discover a way to disable it?

But that can be changed by changing custom setting 4/7. That setting gives you the option of having the outside temperature, fuel consumption, or cruising range display continuously. The selected choice of those 3 displays continuously, and the other 2 can be accessed by cycling through the display items.
To get to that setting, you first press the display button on the steering wheel and hold it when you get to the settings option. You then press it repeatedly until you get to 4/7. Then you hold it on your choice of the 3 options.

I think the chances of that are remote considering Lexus did away with that feature even in the LS...

outside temp
Thanks for all the feedback everyone. I have programmed outside temp to be on all the time, but now I have to flip through cruising range, mpg, etc to see those functions. My 2011 MKZ has a lot more info on the Nav screen, including map, outside temp, compass, radio station, climate controls, clock, song, mpg all on at one time. It's no big deal, but if I were to add features I would just be a little more user friendly. By the way, when programming the functions and you arrive at the word "meter" on top of the ambient setting, does anyone have any idea what that means?

i just received an email yesterday from Lexus, stating that the voice command system is going to be updated to support Siri on all 2014 models. So that might be some improvement over the existing system i guess.
