that happened to my uncle on the highway outside of san francisco. Luckily there were enough witnesses to assure that the guy didn't get away with it.
Is there a 'mute' feature for the stereo? if not, that's something I'd like to see added.

I recall having read information about 3 relatively minor changes. One of them gives increased compatibility for use with an I Phone and its eyes-free Siri system. Also, the the fog lights are being changed to either HID or LED (I can't recall which). The third change that I've read about only applies to the ES300h, and that one gives, I believe, the option of additional choices besides the bamboo for the interior wood trim.

Im debating on a 2013 or 2014.

In any case, if I didn't already own a 2013 ES and if I were looking to buy an ES now, I'd be looking at a 2013. With a 2014, the amount of discounting available will be substantially less than what would be available with 2013. While some of that difference will be recaptured at trade-in time a few years down the road, a 2013 with, say, 60,000 miles in 2018, will have an average of 12,000 miles per year usage, and a 2014 with the same 60,000 miles will have an average of 15,000 per year of usage. That difference in annual usage will significantly reduce the difference between the trade-in value of a 2013 compared to that of a 2014 with the same total mileage. When a vehicle is 4 or 5 years old, its mileage and condition become more important than a year difference in age of the vehicle, and that is especially true if there are no major design or feature differences between the two model years. Also, for me, since I am an Android user, I Phone compatibility is meaningless, and, even if there is a difference in the fog lights, it would be of minimal importance to me.

FWIW, the GS shows LED fogs in 2014. (On Sewell's site, that is)

Your right I think they just updated the lexus website with a picture of the 2014 - but all of the other pages and details appear to be the same (to me) so perhaps it's still a website rework in progress.

My knowledge of the changes that I listed above comes from threads on this board, and they came with links to sources that seemed to be credible. But I can't say for sure that they were credible.

I think Lexus should also increase the number of contacts that can be downloaded. 1000 is not enough for some people, and the system does not allow you to pick and choose which contacts to add if you have more than 1000.

I had it backwards in my earlier post. According to the Lexus site, yes, the 2014 ES300h is available with just the bamboo, but either the bamboo or the birds' eye maple is available in the 2014 ES350.

One way they could make the touchscreen more accessible for people who don't have long arms would be if it moved forward when you first turned on your car and recessed after 30 seconds with no input or you could press a button to make it move forward for input.
