Code, since it is his fault you should push for compensation for diminished value. You can probably get your dealer to document the reduced value due to the wreck. Here in TN if the accident is your fault you cannot collect on diminution of value, but can if it is the other driver's fault.

How do I know that his POS Camry is a '98??? because that what the Cork Soaker wrote on the Police Accident Report. "Loss of my Time, Loss of 'Diminshed value', as well as 6k - 8k worth of side damage to the right rear door, qtr panel rear bumper and a new 17'' rim. Can hardly wait to hear what his Agent, 'Geico' sez.....
Oh wow! I'm so sorry... Let's hope they can fix it like new!

Thanks ElliotB for the link. An answer for mspearl95 however is that the Panorama Roof is only on 350 gas ES's but not on the 300h's. An odd but possible reason as to why involves the shark fin antenna. On most Lexi the fixture contains both the XM satellite and Safety Connect telematic antenna. The XM function requires a metal ground plane which the standard single sunroof roof provides. The Ultra Luxury fixed rear sunroof leaves only a narrow rear header of metal so there is a second surface mounted XM antenna on the metal trunk. With me so far? The Hybrid has a standard deck lid spoiler which is available as an accessory for the 350 gas model...except on the UL where it physically interfers with the XM bump! Don;t understand why the engineers didn't simply locate the XM fixture "3 further forward on the lid for all UL so the spoiler would fit.

I CAN assure you, there is GONNA be one sorry 'Cork Soaker', that lives in Phx. My ESh is at one of the finest Auto Body Shops, in Arizona now. 01/30, I get "Midnight Jr" back

The Lexus code for Ultra Luxury has been changed for 2014. On a ES350 with (Expresso Bird's Eye Maple) Wood it is still "UL". On ES300h's with Bamboo trim it is now ordered as "UT". While it does appear as a routine package build for 10% of production (at least in the Central Region) in the 350 it only shows as an available special order as a 300h. Turnaround time of roughly 12 - 16 weeks.

I realize I am reviving a rather old thread, but I am very curious....

Who else has a 2014 ES300h with the Ultra Luxury package?

I ordered my 300h (built 2/2014) with UL. I've yet to see another 2014 300h with UL. Was wondering if this combination is really that rare.

Without getting out and actually looking inside, how can you tell a UL 300h from any other? It's easy on the 350.

From the outside, there is no difference...unless the rear door manual sun shades happened to be deployed, in which case it would be a difference visible from outside. If you have a very keen eye, I suppose you may see the retracted rear door sun shades nested at the top of the door trim.

It requires a peek inside, but looking for the passenger seat memory buttons is also an easy way to tell.
