Going straight from On to Accessory?
Hi All,
This is a very small thing, but I'm curious if there's a way to go from having the car running to just powering the accessories without first turning it off. This would have been nice a few times when I arrive home and am finishing up an interesting podcast on my phone that I'm listening to in the car. When I press the power button in the car it shuts everything off, and I'd prefer to just turn off the engine and leave the stereo on so I can finish up the story without wasting any gas. I know I can power it off and then hit the power button again with my foot off the brake, but then it has to re-establish connection with the phone which, so there's a bit of a delay.
Like I say, it's a minor thing, but I'm curious if there's a way. In the days of physical keys, this was simple to do: just turn the key one notch to Accessory.
Thanks!

Here's how it's done: Park the car, hold the brakes on, shift the car from drive to "N" neutral, and press the start button. The engine will shut off but stay in accessory mode. You can then place it in park. When finished listening, shut it down.
This was asked previously on here so I'm not the smarty that figured it out.
