Default Humidity Sensor on Windshield?

Does anyone see this in their ES? I have every option available and don't see anything and I can't find any information about it. I was thinking that it is not really an option but more of a geographic item (Engine Block Heater, Etc.)

Thats not the humidity sensor, thats the sensor for the rain sensing wipers. My GS has the humidity sensor, its on the opposite side of the mirror. I'll take a picture

EDIT- Here is the picture. Hard to make it come out in the garage, the flash kept catching the overhead console but its on the driver's side of the mirror mount.

Oh right, good catch, the angle of the photo got me confused for a second. Interesting, your car was leased in MD also?

I have the UL package on my 2013 es300h. I have this on my windshield in the place shown on the graphic from the User Guide. It's on the driver's side of the mirror as shown. I bought mine in Texas.

Mine has that, too, but has anyone ever experienced it functioning, or changing anything automatically?

All it does is direct air to the front defroster when it senses humid air near the windshield. You wouldn't notice anything changing, just as the auto function directs air from the dash to the floor as necessary it does the same to the defroster.

If your HVAC system is set to AUTO, you will see that sometimes it will indicate on the fresh air/recirculate/auto button that it is switched to recirculate and the defroster symbol will also be lit up. This is usually when the car is started after sitting for awhile, and then it goes back to no defroster and may switch to outside air.
