Default Enform Question

Quick question,
I did not renew my subscription to Enform after the free period.
I noticed that when I had Enform, I was able to get traffic updates (accidents ahead, or there is stop and go traffic ahead, etc) when I was using the NAV system.
Now, I don't get this information at all. Is this tied to the Enform or did I change something?
I don't use my NAV system that much but I like to know the traffic by clicking on the cars icon in the dashboard.

I could be wrong, but I thought that the traffic information was a part of the XM subscriptions. If I recall correctly, a 3 month trial of the basic XM subscription came with the vehicle, and the traffic information, sports information, stock information, and weather is a separate subscription for which the vehicle came with a one year trial subscription.

Thanks. I did not renew XM either because I hardly listen to the Radio. So it is either XM or Enform is feeding traffic and weather information to the Nav system I guess.

I think the XM traffic updates are usually worthless. When I'm stuck in traffic and want to know the reason and check XM traffic in my locale, it will show a message like "slow traffic". Now isn't that helpful information for the "x" amount per month they charge.

The traffic info is a separate subscription through XM. You do not need to subscribe to the radio to keep it but do need to subscribe to traffic.

I agree. I use the traffic function on my Google Maps app to check the traffic, and sometimes the Waze app.

Thank you all for the replies.
I now use Google maps as well but kinda enjoyed seeing that on my NAV.
I don't think paying that much money is worth it.
