FYI, Extended warranty rule change
I have purchased extended warranties for every Lexus I have owned. I called Jerry to get both my Rx350 and Es300h covered. And this was his response he told me over the phone and via email.
Jerry always beats dealer price. I made the call to give my opinion.
Toyota has made a Rule change on how a customer can purchase the Toyota warranty & Maintenance and how I can offer it.
A customer can still purchase the Factory Platinum warranty from any Toyota dealer in the USA
Here is the new rule you can still purchase the warranty over the phone if you purchase from a Toyota Dealer in your state but to purchase the warranty out of your state you can no longer purchase over the phone you would need to come in person to the dealership to make the purchase in person
Toyota has had dealers complaining so this should make them happy
I have all ways had a lot of customers come from out of state to purchase because they like to make the purchase in person and I do understand this may not work for everyone.
I can still help you with the warranty if you would come in and see me but if not and understand this is not fair to us all a lot of customers have been calling the 800-331-4331 complaint department
