Navigation version.
Looking for a little guidance. We just purchased a CPO 2013 ES 300h and everything has been great. One thing they told us is that the navigation was fully up to date. Map Version is 21-12-27 [2012-06-1]. Is this the latest version available?
Thanks for the help!

Another thing to consider is that the map updates usually come near the end of the year (November time frame) so even if your current version isn't the latest, I wouldn't buy an update until the new one comes out at the end of the year.
Unless you live in a city (or travel to one) where there is a lot of road construction or new development, there isn't usually very many changes from year to year.

Yeah, we live around DC so the roads change weekly, lol.
Looking at that site I assume I am running the 12.x version and there is a 13.1 version out. I asked my salesman about it just before I made this post and he said they only update every 3-4 years which I thought was ridiculous.

At this point in the year, I'd definitely wait the 2-3 months to get the new one when it comes out.

The navigation unit will continue to work without updating the maps. It just won't know about any new roads. Toyota only updates the maps about once a year, and even then they are almost a year old already.
If you actually need "current" (or very recent) maps, for an area where the roads are being changed often (such as, Washington DC), buy a portable Garmin navigator. With those, you can get a subscription to map updates, and they update them every quarter.
Lexus _could_ create significant value for us customers by simply providing map updates on a regular basis, at very little cost. That they have (so far) chosen not to, speaks volumes...
