Question Track my car's arrival

Hey guys,
Maybe I'm wrong but as I have read through this forum I see mentions of people tracking their special ordered cars from Japan to their dealership. So I was just wondering if someone could point me in the right direction so I could track mine as it makes its way to me.
Thanks.

If you can find the vessel name, you can then get the ships scheduled itinerary. This is usually available from the shipping company on its web site, and there are other sources. The port-of-arrival often has a web site listing which ships are expected when.... Google can be your friend.

Getting the vessel name is, of course, the hard part. The dealer may be able to tell you. Or, the dealer may be able to tell you when (expected date) it will arrive at which port... The people at your dealer can often get information that is not otherwise available. Ask them...

Even after the ship arrives, there are train schedules, truck schedules, installation of options and accessories, etc.

At best, it is a guessing game. Weather often delays ships. And lots of things can go wrong. Cars are sometimes damaged during unloading, even after the ship has arrived safely. Sometimes, even after the truck arrives at the dealer...

Thanks for the response. It explains a lot. I will definitely give my dealership a call.

I used this site to track my ES300h from Japan. http://www.marinetraffic.com/
You will loose it once it leaves Japan but pick it up again as it approaches the Panama Canal.
My car was shipped on the London Highway car carrier ship.
