To be honest, I have yet to come across anyone discussing this but I don't see why it could not be done. There are quite a number of HB3 LED bulbs listed on Ebay. I suppose many, myself included would not consider changing it because the cost could not justify its infrequent usage. Furthermore, nobody would realise whether it is a LED bulb, Halogen or Xenon because it will have to be switched off when approaching another car anyway

Yes, you can swap out the high beams as well. They are a little different bulb (9005), but they are certainly available in LED. I just can't yet convince myself that there is any reason to do so. I am rarely able to use the high beams, so my only reason would be to make them match. That seems like a lot to spend for a cosmetic change that would only rarely be seen.

Update on the LEDs that I ordered... I started the return process on those today. Those LEDs do not have the distance, too blue compared to the LEDs, and are also sitting loose and wobble around. Going for the HID upgrade...

Looking for something that will match the DRL in color temperature. Also thinking to install them myself since there are two perfect spots for installing the ballasts.

Sorry to hear that you have to return the bulbs. From your earlier post after your installation, I thought you were quite satisfied with them. By the way, can you share with us what brand and model of the bulb you bought that you find is too too bluish?

Here is the link to the bulbs I bought -- I believe they are 6500K:

What I said originally was my mistake jumping to a conclusion too often. Took a week and different routes from my usual commutes to realize it.
