nope i'll pass...the only thing i would be missing is updated interior materials, and possibly the d.i. engine/trans combo. i think the venerable 3.5l though is stellar and ultra reliable so even at that no biggie.
I know that, visually, different things appeal to different people, but, for me, that is just ugly. It makes me wonder if, with views of the side and rear of the vehicle, they took a similar gaudy approach.
Other improvements in vehicle features in the 2016 ES over the 2015 ES would have to very significant to make me want a 2016 ES over a 2015 (or 2014 or 2013).

I was a victim of the 2006 GS300 issue with the valve's getting full of carbon due to DI. There was no fuel flowing over the valves to clean them. Call me old fashioned but I prefer the current engine as I believe it will be very reliable for the long haul. I have read that some modern DI engines use a conventional injection system at start up to help the engine start better when cold, I assume this also cleans the valves a bit.
Actually... I just realized something. The "leaked photo" is not real. I thought something looked a bit off with the grill design. The one in this photo does not line up with the headlight design. If you look at the teaser image that was sent, the grill lines up with the headlights. The turn signal also does not swoop back in the teaser pic as it does in this "leaked photo". In addition, the exterior border of the grill in the "leaked photo" is not even the same as the teaser pic.
Also, this "leaked photo" is only showing up on that Taiwan Lexus Fans facebook page. I think they made this fake pic to stir up people like us and to bring traffic to their page. I bet you they looked at the teaser pic, and made an artist rendering on what they think the car will look like (albeit with made some major mistakes). The quality of this "leaked pic" is pretty awful . You can see a ton of artifacts. Also, there's that huge "www.facebook.com/TaiwanLexusFans" on the bottom of it. Suspicious? I think so.
Teaser image for reference (look at where the grill meets the headlights and hood of the car):
This new look isn't looking too good right now, especially compared to the current ES look. I can tolerate the grille, but the headlights look kinda weird, and that upper strip above the grille is more noticeable due to it. They should've made that strip either part of the hood or grille covers it. The current ES has a classy look to it, but this face doesn't. Hopefully the back looks better, or the whole car looks better in a different color.

I like it! Yeah, maybe I'm the odd one out, but I love how it finally creates a coherent front end look for the ES. The all black grille finally banishes the awkward look that light colored ES models have from the front.
I also think it's a real photo because the enlarged chrome grille surround lines up with the inside edge of the headlight. The headlights look roughly the same except for the LED swoosh placed closer to the projectors. And dual projectors mean what exactly, separate HID high beams?
