Hey guys, I want to say sorry for my bad english at first. Please bear with me.

I started getting this weird sound after 10K miles service. I noticed it when i parked my car in the garage and the engine was off. I get this sound with or without turning the AC.

It sounds like a very fast tapping/clicking under the hood. (it is like a cooling sound but much faster) ..I don't think i got this kind of sound before. I don't know how to describe it..here is the youtube link:
It usually last for 30 mins-ish... Is it normal?

 

Well since no one has replied, I will say never heard a sound like that. I would take back to the dealer.

Yes, that's what i thought. It was no there before the service. For 10k service, i check all the items, the only thing that could possibly cause this is the oil change. This is very much like a lift tapping. But i refuse to believe the staff in the dealer made this kind of mistake...

 

Made the schedule today. I will bring it back to deal service this Thursday. I will keep this post updated. Just in case someone else experience the same thing.

 

Update: The issue has been addressed and fixed. The catalytic converter is damaged. Once they replace it everything is working as normal again.

 

Good to hear they were able to diagnose and correct the issue.

 

How did the catalytic get damaged? It's not a cheap part.
