Some parts do fit!
I was on 2012 4cly Camry springs at one point, now I'm using 2014 Camry coilovers kit on my 13+ ES. Haven't bought a brake kit but we still use the same brake pad size and rotors. 2013 Camry V6 intake fits. Not sure how true this is but I remember someone using a Camry bolt on exhaust on a 13+.
Now I would do some research before buying parts but when no one has done it, it's all trial and error.

Bracing the struts shouldn't affect ride, other than stopping chassis flex.
Which shock towers are you trying to brace?
over engine? or rear?
a good cage builder could fabricate something. how shiny you want it is up to you.

Any advice on finding or identifying a "good" cage builder? FYI - I am in the Tri-state area.

Check your local SCCA, NASA, PCA/BMW clubs websites.
Shops that tech cars will often have a mill and mig welders.
I had one made out of bed frame rail for a rabbit convertible. ugly but worked fine.
