Default 16 ES350 UL (delivery Sat)

Well, I just ordered a 2016 ES 350 (Atomic Silver with the Flaxen leather/Bamboo interior). Getting the Ultra Luxury with every available option including 18" wheels. Trading my ES350 ultra luxury in, I will post the differences next week. They are delivering it to me Sat or Monday depending when it arrives. They have to add the paint protection film and window tint. Super Excited.

Kent Patterson at Lexus at Dominion (San Antonio) did everything via the phone. He said the car is in transit, getting weighed, ect, whatever that means, lol. Awesome guy!

Congrats! I wish I was trading my '13 in too. I'll wait a couple of more years. The '16s look really nice.

Good Luck with the new one and no battery issues...

sry, trading my 2013 in. I did have the battery issue, but it was a sticking seat extender button that the UL's have that caused the battery to drain. I got a free battery tender out of the deal and a free upgraded battery. I am keeping the tender for the new one,

Agreed!

Our "old" 2015 UL ES350 is Atomic Silver, but no flaxen interior here (just black)

Ordered that color sight unseen?

Its a nice color though. Definitely "different". When we were looking for ours, we wanted a light color because it will hide dents and scratches better, but the other light colored options (Starfire Pearl, "Old Guy Gold") just werent for us.

Saw an AS ES350 on the lot and really liked it so we went with the AS. Everyone thats seen the car loves the color. In some angles its gunmetal-ish gray, some angles and light levels it looks silver, etc.

Yeah, I'm tired of silver cars but liked the AS so much I just got one. You'll like it, a very shiny pewter.

Don't think they started yet. Someone that works there said Oct, IIRC.

Interesting. Thats one of the reasons I didnt want the '16. Would have been interesting to know I could have gotten a Japan built '16 if I acted fast enough.

And it would be "more rare" so you could sell it for an extra 10 bux
