"It's not feasible to repaint what we already painted"
Well, they painted it the wrong f'ing color, so I would say whatever you want is feasible.
Have you spoken to your insurance company? Was this the shop they recommended?

First, if adjacent panels are being repainted, it is less than ideal for them not to be painted at the same time. When they are painted at different times, there is no assurance that the amount of paint, the amount of metallic, the color, etc. that was used on one panel is going to be the same as what was done on the adjacent panel. And all of that becomes even more critical with a multi-stage paint color like the atomic silver. In order to get a great match, everything done in each stage needs to be the same, and that becomes unlikely when the adjacent panels are painted at different times.
Further, you no longer will have an atomic silver ES. Instead, you will have a car with another unnamed paint color.
Also, if the color that they have already used isn't right, to get it right with that new color, they would have to repaint all panels on the car, including the bumpers, or else you will still have mismatched paint in other locations on the car.
Finally, if the color after they are done isn't really atomic silver any more, if you ever need paint work in the future, it is likely to be even more of a nightmare than this experience has been because the painter won't have the factory's paint formulation to use as a guide and starting point when he/she is trying to match the paint color.
All and all, it may be the case that the best option is to let them do the best that they can and, then, to take your financial loss and move on.
I wish you the best of luck and hope that they can, in spite of my skepticism, end up with a great final result.

Great news, USAA is letting me take it to another body shop to get it repainted. Looks promising. If this body shop cannot match it, then I am taking it to a certified Lexus shop in Dallas. Well scratch, Dallas/Ft Worth, they are booked solid until August due to the recent hail damaged cars.
