Should I buy an ES350-do you like your car?

Yes I've discussed it with the dealer as well and they advise me that I tend to sit "ghetto style", Im not tall but like to sit far back but then I find the steering wheel too far away. They say this sitting position is not recommended at all, yet a fair number of people do sit this way IMO.

I've never had any complaint about how any generation of the ES has driven or ridden, or the seating or driving position.

I don't have a current gen ES, but I've driven many and had two previous ES sedans. My issues with the current gen ES all stem from issues I have with material quality feeling cheap in the interior when compared to previous versions of the ES I've owned. Most of my complaints were solved with the 2016 refresh, a couple areas I feel could still be improved but overall it's a huge improvement IMHO. I would never have bought a 13-15 ES but I would definitely buy a 16.

I'm happy to see them pay closer attention to the details though with the 2016 refresh, that means they understand the importance of materials and detail in a luxury car. Like I said, I upgraded to the GS in 2012 simply because of the interior, had the 2016 been what was available in 2012 I wouldn't have upgraded and would have gotten another ES.

Is this your first ES? Its the comparison to previous versions of the ES thats the issue. I've seen a steady decline in interior quality between my 2003 (the best), my 2010 and then the 2013-2015. IMHO the materials are actually better in an Avalon.
