Default ES 300h reset maintenance light

How do I do this? I see a lot about pushing the odometer button but on the hybrid there does not appear to be a button on the bottom right of the tachometer. Thanks.

The button that you need to push (and hod) while pressing the vehicle "start" button to put the car into the ACC position is the "trip" odometer button on the dashboard just to the left of the steering column. On older Lexus vehicles, the button that needed to be pushed was the trip odometer button that was on either the speedometer or the tachometer.

I believe that the method for resetting the reminder changed with the new design of the instrument display and steering wheel with the 2016 ES. I know that the method that I described in my earlier post is the way to do it for the 2013 ES, and I'm guessing that it is the same for the 2014 and 2015 ES.

Less, I have a 2015. I pressed and held the button down from ACC then when I pressed the power once more, I saw the resetting maintenance message. Thanks.

Sorry can you please clarify how this is done again?
1) With the ignition off, do I press and hold the odo reset button and then press the START button simultaneously (while NOT pressing the brake pedal, as I would, if I was starting the car).
2) release both buttons.

Is this how it is done?

Will this move the tire rotation message forward by 5000 miles?

I have a 2014.

Thanks..

Yes, you are correct, except that you need to begin, I believe, with the odometer in the "trip A" position. After setting the odometer to display "trip A", turn the car off. With your foot off of the brake, press the start button twice while pressing and holding the "trip odometer" button to the left of the steering wheel.

The procedure for resetting the reminder is also explained on p. 658 of the 2013 ES manual. For other model years, the page number might be different, but I'm sure that it is there.

And, yes, the next time that you see the "maintenance required" message will be in 5000 miles.
