PUSH to start problem.
PUSH to start problem (green ready light). You push the start button, but the Green light doesn’t come on. Holding down button doesn’t necessarily help. The only way to start the car is to get out of the car and start the car with remote system.

Tweaker could be right - a little more muscle on the brake pedal.
Is this a new car or a new problem or have you had the car for awhile? All that should be needed is to press the button once - holding the button down until the car starts is not necessary.

Actually, I bet you can but the doors have to be locked in order to use the remote start. If they get out of the car and start it, the car will shut off when they open the door. They need to be in the car and use the remote start. I have used the remote app while sitting in the car (wife had the key), but I didn't try to drive away so I don't know for a fact that they could.
