You know, Lexus batteries can vary greatly in how long they last from my experience. I just replaced my wife's under warranty as it died a year and a half after we purchased it, where as the one in my ES is 6 years old and works fine.

This original post is from 2016. For some reason I had an old post pop up on a search for new posts. Moderator webmaster, maybe a problem with forum software

The original battery in my 2013 ES300h started to fail after 7 yrs / 78,000 miles.
Followed this post and purchased an Exide MX24 from RockAuto.
Easiest battery replacement I've ever had to do (other than the price ).

Our 2013 ES 300h purchased new in January 2013 had sat for 3 weeks and a couple of days as we have been under our own and then county, then state stay in place orders. We finally needed to go food shopping. Yesterday we got in the car and had no issues. I was not expecting it to function but it did. I even checked the status of the drive/hybrid battery and it was still at full charge. Amazed to say the least.

I just went out to see if our 2015 ES350 purchased new and built in November 2014 would start after sitting the same amount of time, it started right up. I was very happy it did.

How long have you had this battery in for? Have you seen any issues with it? Asking because there aren’t a lot of options other than oem for the hybrid. Thanks!

Do you have the website to buy the Exide MX24? How was your experience with the shipment. I have trust issues with websites that I'm not familiar. Is there a store we can go in person?

See this thread for your ES 300h.

rockauto.com has the Exide MX24 for $149.70 plus shipping ($16.99 via FedEx Ground to my zip code).

While I have not used rockauto.com, they seem to be highly recommended by others.

Curious how your Lexus's fuel efficiency is faring - I have an Autocraft Platinum 24F, and I have had a drop of 4-8 mpg (depending upon the ambient temperature - i'm in the Phx, AZ area) since replacement (about 2 years now!).
