Es chrome door handle trim

I would do both the chrome handles and the trim below the doors if I had an ES, that's how my 2010 ES was and how my LS is.

At first I wanted full chrome covers, and I was unhappy with the face-only [half] chrome covers.
After a while, I now think face-only [half] covers are perfect, and that full chrome covers may be too much chrome.
Full chrome covers must have special recess openings to activate the touch locking.
The chrome handles can be unetched, or etched with the brand name.
I did my door handles only.
Very simple; test line up, then just peel off, position, and press down.

On the FULL covers, is the recess avail to lock the door?.....It looked to me like the recess is on the bottom, maybe not.. The ones that just stick on the flat surface is no issue

The photos above show the passenger side to be correct with the detent hole on top. The driver's side shows it to be on the bottom. I'd bet that you're correct dchar and the covers have holes for the detent on top AND bottom.

UPDATE::: I shoulda known better but I had to try,, I ordered the full ones...Got them today.....They dont fit exactly they way Id like them to fit, imagine that.....The bad thing is... While there are holes for the indents to lock the doors, the doors will NOT lock with these on the car.. It does look nice Ill say that but I wont be using them.. Maybe just the half chrome ones, assuming they will stay on the car.. Not sure why Lexus cant put chrome handles on them to begin with, my Honda Pilot even had chrome handles......
