Just picked up a 2015 ES 350 with only 3015 miles, do i have to go to a Lexus dealer for 5000/10000 mile check up? If not will it effect my warranty. thanks

I'd start your maintenance schedule by getting the 5k service and then just go by the Lexus schedule. As Brent says, you can get your car serviced anywhere you choose. Your warranty runs 4 years or 48k miles from in-service date. Come back with any other questions you come up with.
GOOD LUCK with your new car and welcome to CL.

The 5K and 10K services are paid as a warrantee item and must be
done at a Lexus store. Any and all customer paid visits are easily
done at a Toyota store.

While they are paid for, they are not required as a warranty to be done at a Lexus dealer. I for one. do not live near a Lexus dealer and it would cost me more to get the "free" service anyway. Iy was cleared ny both Lexus and Toyota that I get the service at the Toyota dealer but even that isnt necessary. I can get it done anywhere. It does not affect the warranty in any way.

This is good info. Take advantage of the free 5 and 10k service at the Lexus dealer then go wherever you want including a Toyota dealer or independent garage.

Does anyone know if a alignment is under warrenty work?
I bought a CPO ES about 6 months ago and I am covered 2020. My 20k service is coming up and I was going to bring it to their attention that my steering wheel is slightly off center.

How old is the car? I would guess both the 5k and 10k have already been done, as they go by time, if that's greater.
Every new Lexus comes with complimentary first and second scheduled maintenance services. These services are provided at 6 months/5,000 miles and 12 months/10,000 miles.

Looking at the CPO warranty, I was surprised that for a hybrid, the battery was not covered. That would be my biggest concern with buying one.

I would think not, unless there was a defect with a component that caused the issue.

If the car was bought as a CPO vehicle, it may still be eligible for complimentary oil changes and rotations. I'm not sure whether it is something offered by Lexus dealers with CPO purchases or whether it is up to the individual dealers, but the Lexus dealers in this area are offering complimentary maintenance for 2 years after the purchase of a CPO Lexus, which includes 2 oil changes at 10,000 mile intervals and tire rotations at the 5000, and 15,000 mile intervals in between the oil changes.
