You're going to make me go out to the car and actually check this.

This has been in cars for many years. I have a tall torso so have to move the mirror all of the way to the top of the windshield then adjust it from there.

I recently noticed there is a small led light in the bottom of the rear view mirror that illuminates the center console at night while driving.

You kidding me? I never noticed that. When does it turn on?

I believe it stays on as it is very low power. I had a 2002 with the same feature so as mentioned above, a lot of these features are not "new" but new to us. Fun learning about them though. I'm going to check a few things this weekend. My last "whoa" moment was when I found out my side mirrors moved when I put the car in reverse..!

Just remembered one more feature - the humidity sensor on the windshield (right next to the rearview mirror). It senses when the windshield is about to fog up and proactively redirects vents to prevent this.

I figured that out pretty quickly- locked my 2nd key and it blinked 4 times and I stored it away. HOWEVER, I had the other key fob that I use in the car and...... it got locked inside! so, I just pressed the button on the 2nd and it came back to life. Didn't know you could lock a fob inside.

Is the feature where the rear view mirrors tilt down when the car is in reverse a standard feature on all 2015 ES350 models or just on some? I don't see that happening on my 2015 when I put it in reverse and I specifically looked for it to happen yesterday. Thanks

If your mirror adjustment switch is set to the middle the mirrors won't move. The switch - on the left side of the dash - must be set to either right or left.

Default Leaving radio on while turning off the engine.

Another feature that I did not know right away (this one I have just found experimentally). If you want to continue to listen to the radio but need to turn off the engine do the following:

1. Shift into neutral.
2. Press the "ENGINE START/STOP" button.
3. Shift into park.

I'll be darned... Good find:
If the shift lever is in a position other
than P when turning off the engine, the
“START STOP ENGINE” switch will
be turned to ACCESSORY mode,
not to off
