On a 2014 ES300h, does the analog clock light up?
My newly purchased, used 2014 ES300h is the first Lexus I've owned, as well as this being my first day here at Club Lexus. It's very overwhelming, though I'm certain I'll get the hang of both. However, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to illuminate the analog clock. Does it? I cannot imagine that a car as expensive as an ES300h has a clock that you cannot read at night. Please, someone, give a new owner some help! No one, even at the dealership, knows the answer to this. And, please forgive me if this has been asked and answered already.

I have 2014 ES300H and can confirm that the clock does illuminate - at least in the dark when the headlights are on.
Check this video on youtube.

Yes, it should light up (when ambient light is dark enough to trigger automatic headlights and such). I had a 2013 ES300h and the clock's face was back illuminated - as opposed to the the "numbers" being illuminated like in my current GS.. There's plenty of video and pics on the web of the clock illuminated. I'm really surprised your dealer doesn't know.

I'm thinking maybe the bulb that illuminates from behind the clock is out. Is there anyway of increasing/decreasing the brightness of the clock?

I would assume it does go up and down in brightness with the rest of the intrument cluster.

That's what I thought, but it did nothing to the clock. I'll give it another try. The car had some electrical issues (e.g. the Display button on the steering wheel did absolutely nothing. It had to be repaired.) Maybe this clock issue is something that was overlooked. Thanks for your input.
