2013 es350 dtc p0343 & p0335?
Hello all.
My 2013 Es350 is giving P0343 & P0335 codes, which refer to Camshaft Position SEnsor "A" Circuit fault.
It appears only on low speed, I think. Two days back, I drove about 250 km and didn't get the fault during the long drive.
But today it appeared twice ( after resetting).
Can someone help me with their experience?
I want to locate the sensor and check the electrical connections by myself.
Is there any chance of Doing it myself?
Thanks.

The camshaft sensor is just below the air box. See this video of Camry, which has the same engine as Lexus es.
I think 2013 is much too soon for the sensor to go bad. It is likely that particles in oil might have jammed it, especially if the oil change frequency was not kept on it. Another possibility is the wiring, which you can follow in the video.
What is the maintenance history on this car? How many miles? Did oil sludge in it (you can tell that by just opening the oil cap on engine and looking at the deposit inside the oil cap)?

There is a service bulletin about this problem.
A dealer needs to reprogram ECU to make these codes to go away. Service bulletin SB-0096-14.

Thank you alot for the reply.
I have recently bought it from a used car market and I don't have maintenance history of this car. The car appears to be very clean and new but doesn't seem to have been maintained properly, as the Engine oil was found very dirty which I have had replaced.
It has got 69000 km on it. I have replace the air intake filter, which was also in very bad condition and reset the faults again.
Could it be that I need to remove and clean the sensor tip?
I have not paid attention to the engine oil deposits inside the cap.
I will try to access the sensor connections to start with.
Tomorrow's driving will give update me and I will update here as well.
Thanks

Update : The fault has gone.
I checked the wiring for the sensor and tightened them here and there, it's been a week or so and the fault has not come back on yet.
Thank you all for the help.
