Hi everybody! Can you please help me to find the resistance of standard subwoofer, part number 86160-0wx30? I've perused the Internet but haven't found anything.

I have it written somewhere, that I got it directly from ML corp. Ill dig it out and try to post it in the next few days. I am going to change it out for a better free air sub one day. That $3000 plus ML system in the ES really sucks IMO.

Here is the VIN code of my car: JTHBK1GGX02003101, could you please find what exactly speaker is installed in my car? The catalogue shows 2 part numbers: 86160-0wx30 and 86160-33800 but I've found in the internet that 86160-33800 is installed in case if the audio system is not Mark Levinson because previous owner had changed factory speaker to another one, to Hertz ES F20.5.

But this speaker doesn't sound as it should and I think that it doesn't fit by its parameters to factory inetnsifier. Therefore I want to change it to more appropriate. But to buy factory speaker is quite expensive I want to take factory subwoofer from Honda Accord 8 generation, CU2 body.

I do like its sound and additionally as well as factory speaker it has paper diffuser and I think it is of high sensitivity but its resistance is 2 Ohm. Therefore I'm trying to investigate if it could influence the operation of factory intensifier.

And in case the factory subwoofer is of resistance of 2.5 Ohm and new one is of 2 Ohm I think there should be no problem besause the difference of 0.5 Ohm is not too hgh. Also I've found that subwoofer with part number 86160-33800 has the resistance of 2.5 Ohm but for part number 86160-0wx30 I cannot found anything.

Yes Mike, you are absolutely right, unfortunately the American forum lexus club does not allow to register without indicating the state and the index in the US. I live in Russia, in Siberia, Irkutsk, near Lake Baikal. Have you heard about Lake Baikal?)) We have quite severe climate, in summer we have+30, and in winter sometimes even -35, for this case the car is equipped with additional warm package that includes three zone climate control, heated steering wheel, all seats, wipers and mirrors + mirrors with electric drive, and Blind Spot Detection system) Please welcome))

A Siberian ES? That's the first. Welcome! I'm kinda nearby, on the opposite side of Mongolia
Maybe this needs a separate thread but I wonder how the ES drives in winter. Do you drive it in the snow there?
