Default Tires

I just go 2017 18" wheels for my 2014 es350 that came with 17" wheels. Any recommendations for the smoothest quietest riding tires ?

Yes sir... I went thru this about a year or so ago. I ended up going with Pirelli Cinturato P7 Plus / Size: 225/45R/18 (XL) Love em. Nice smooth and quiet ride..... The only other tire I would consider is a Michelin.... STAY AWAY FROM BRIDGESTONE TURANZA'S.... they came oem on both my 2007 Avalon and my Lexus ES.... hated those tires... loud, not very smooth.. couldn't wait for them to wear down so I could replace them.

When Poppa preaches listen. He is right. The Pirelli is rated #1 on Tire Rack. The highly rated Michelin is not available in the 18 inch.

I've had Pirellis on 2 different cars and I've noticed they were quieter and smoother than what I had previously.

Does this hold true for best quiet & smooth summer tires? I swap out to winters but will need new summer's in the spring.
Thanks!!

i will chime in here with a question Michelin Premier A/S or Pirelli Cinturato P7 for best all weather handling?
Pirelli is about $120 cheaper for the set

How long do these dang Turanzas last? I have 35,000 miles on mine and they still look good. I cannot justify replacing them until they wear out!

I replaced mine at 50,000, and tread depth was about 3-4/32". so they can last.

Here is my experience with all seasons:
1. Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+
2. Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus

I can't speak to the Michelin Premier A/S.... but I love the PIrelli's on my car. It should be noted I live in Louisiana so no snow or ice to deal with. I've had the tires for a little over a year now and they are smooth riding / quiet tires. I'm also a fan of Michelin tires as well as Yokohama tires... Some of y ou are saying.. What? Yokohama tires... yep. at the advice of a friend of mine who manages a tire shop, I put a set of Yoko's on my 4-runner... oh my god, these are the smoothest and quietest tires I have ever had on a truck..They are unbelieveable. When I bought my tires for my Lexus, I was considering the Yoko's Avid Ascend, but because the Pirellis's were the #1 rated tire on Tire Rack at the time, that's what I went with. I dont think you can wrong with the Pirellis'.. Just my opinion.

I replaced mine at 30,400 miles.. There was still some life in them ( maybe another 5K ) but I was getting ready to take a trip so I swapped them out at 30K.

I replaced mine at ~18K. I just couldn't take it any longer.
