Prices on these items will vary a bit depending on location. Find a local shop who does these services and you'll save. The dealerships contract this work out to them and you'll cut out the middle man.

Not only do prices vary, but the amount of coverage can vary significantly, and that will have a big effect on the price.

My recommendation would be to get lots of coverage, which would include the full hood, full front fenders, full front bumper, mirrors, door handle cups, and, possibly, door edges, A pillars, and the front portion of the roof.

A complete package like that, whether from a dealer or a trim shop, can cost as much as $2500 or more, but there is significant mark-up on that kind of price. What I've found works well is to get it done from by the dealer, but I wouldn't bring the paint protection film into the negotiations process until I had finished negotiating everything else in the deal. Then, I would bring up the paint protection film and indicate that I would buy the car if they sold me the paint protection film at a drastically reduced price. If you do that, it is likely that the dealer will sell you their $2500 package for as little as $1000 or less. They are not going to risk losing a deal by insisting on making a big profit on the paint protection film.

Any clear bra installer can provide and install door edge guards. Here's a couple options for you:
