Heated Seats
I have a 2015 ES 350. Heated functioned fine for the first 6 months but they automatically shut off after 45 minutes. And I have to shut off the engine and restart in order for the seated to get warm again. My local dealership tells me that it is a safety feature to prevent from overheating. They are not able to answer why they stayed on in the first 6 months nor why I have to restart the car to get the seats working again. I was wondering if anyone else had this experience.

Call Lexus customer satisfaction and ask on the proper functioning.

I don't know if that's a safety feature or not.. I can honestly say mine have never automatically turned off after a certain amount of time, but then again, I've never timed it... This could be something in your personal settings... check out this link and keep scrolling down til you see climate Settings ( NUMBER 8 ). Maybe that will help. good luck.

Yes, there is definitely something that isn't working properly with your heated seats.
They are not set up to work on a timer and they don't shut off automatically, but what is, to me, the clearest indication of a problem is that you can't turn them back on again without having first to restart the car. That behavior makes it seem like some form of circuit breaker is getting tripped and that it only re-sets when you shut down the car and start it up again.
