Default 2018 ES350 seat comfort

Just bought a 2018 ES350. The driver seat comfort is horrible. My butt hurts in less than 20 min driving. My old 2014 ES350 was perfect. The dealer has no answers. Appears to be a design problem. Any Ideas?

This is why I won't buy a car without doing at least an hour test drive now. Had the same problem with RX.
It's not a design problem, it's a design change. I tried the 13-15 ES's and hated the seats. Love the new seat design of the 16+.
It's just a different design of a seat that doesn't work with some body types.

After having driven my 2013 ES for 3 1/2 years, when I got the 2017 ES, I adjusted the seats in the 2017 to approximate the adjustments that I had in the 2013, and my perception was that I felt like I was sitting in the same seats in both cars. The only difference that I could perceive would be a visual perception because of the change in the stitching pattern in the upholstery. Otherwise I see no difference with regard to comfort.

It is interesting how different people can have perceptions that are quite different from each other.

Design problem? The seat or your posterior?

Its all about the rear. I have driven the 2013, 17, and 18. They all feel good. Only difference is break in of Leather. Maybe his seat is just still stiff, from being very new?

No 2013 mine UL, other 2 not UL, felt same to me. The Leather pattern has changed. But seats felt the same to me.

I mentioned this in another thread. Sometimes I find my self sitting to far left towards the Driver door, up on bottom side bolster. And wallet in pocket on long trips uncomfortable. When I take my wallet out of pocket and shift to center to right off bolster much better.

And yes my UL has the lumbar but I don't feel uncomfortable in the 2017 and 2018 I drove.

I was asking the OP, since he's the one that notices a difference.
