Default Hello and a question

Hi. I picked up an L/Certified 2017 ES 350 in Satin Cashmere Metallic, a few days ago. 6 months old, 7200 miles, Nav pkg, Luxury pkg, Heated steering, power trunk, power rear shade. $37,475, which is $9300 less than it was new, 6 months ago. I guess I got an ok/good deal???

Nearly perfect condition, except a very small nick in the lowest part of the front bumper, and the following: On the rear bumper, there is a grey strip across the very bottom of the bumper (I don't know what this thing is called), that has deep scratches and a small piece broken out of it. I am going to try and let this not bother me, but if it does...
1) Does anyone know what this piece of the bumper is called?
2) How easy would it be for me to replace?

I plan on getting paint protection film put on the bumper and hood soon. I ordered door edge protection film, body side molding, and mud guards, which I will install as soon as they are here.

Oh, one more question: I have an iPhone 8 that I paired up. I cannot get Siri to work (everything else does). I hold down the off hook button on the steering wheel, and the display shows the big microphone, but when I talk nothing happens.
3) What am I doing wrong?

Thanks, and looking forward to contributing here.

The gray lower lip of the rear bumper is a part of the entire bumper cover. It is not a separate part. Therefore, you cannot just replace that lower lip.

Depending on how small the piece is that is broken out of the bumper cover, a body shop might be able to fashion a patch that fills the hole. Then, they would have to mask off and repaint the gray lip. If that could be done, the cost should be relatively small. Otherwise, the cost of buying a new bumper cover, having it painted, and having it installed would be significant.

Ok, thanks. I think that one over.

Any input for my Siri issue?

For Siri, you are doing things correctly. When I hold down the off-hook button and the Siri mic comes on the nav screen, sometimes I'll hear the "bloop" to start talking and sometimes I do not. It is is little confusing, but my playing around points the finger at Lexus. Siri works great just on the iPhone itself. Hold down the off-hook button and after the nav-screen changes, wait a few more seconds, maybe a few more, and see (hear) if the "bloop" sounds and you can talk. I've started talking before the "bloop" sound and Siri still hears me. It's a little annoying, but it does work.

Good luck!

No bloop sound. I guess I try rebooting the system next time I am in the car. Edit: I held down the power button for 30 seconds, and I think it rebooted. I tried again and no difference.

Also, does anyone know the paint color of the gray flat-black lip at the bottom of the bumper? I think I *might* try Bondo-ing it and painting it.
