Want to upgrade my stereo without voiding warranty.
I would like to do modest upgrades to my system without voiding warranty. I have a 2016 nav model without ML. I have no idea about anything else about the stereo other than it sounds like crap.
If if I just change out the speakers, I know I’ll hear a modest improvement. Will that void the warranty? Is there an amp that can be changed out easily without voiding warranty? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Call the dealer and see what they say. Tell them specifically what you want to do. Even if it does void your warranty, it should only void warranty on the stereo equipment and nothing else.
And if you're really set on upgrading the stereo, just save the oem parts and install them back in any major problems come up and you need to make a warranty claim. If you buy quality equipment and know how (or pay someone that knows how to) correctly install everything, this shouldn't be an issue.
