I just purchased an RX and I love the privacy and overall look of just the rear windows being tinted. I was wondering what it would look like if I just tinted the rear windows of my ES? Would it look like a half finished job or should I get tint all the way around and jet get darker tint on the rear windows. I

I've never done it, but when I see a car with only the rear windows tinted it just looks "off" to me. As you said, kind of 1/2 finished. It looks OK on an SUV or minivan with privacy glass.

I hate the look of mismatched windows or when some windows are done and others aren't. Like when people do really dark in the back and not as dark in the front to comply with laws. It just doesn't look right.

If you're going to tint your windows, tint them all and stick to one shade of darkness. I've got 20% all around minus the windshield, of course. That's the % i always do on my cars.

Definitely agree with the half finished look. I had the same dilemma a few weeks ago and decided to go with 20% rear and 30% front. I'm in NJ and no front tints are legal so they are pretty harsh. If a cop pulls up next to me I just roll them down
