Get HUD. Been using this HUD on my other cars and installed it on my newly purchased ES300H over the weekend.
Its not big ugly flat panel that lay on your dash board. Its bright enough to see it during the day and good enough to see it without the film.

I have mine set up to show only speed. No need to look down at the gauge. Also I can read my speed without adjusting focus.
Love the ride/build quality but huge disappointment in techs/convenience features.

Be aware that the OBD II speed is not accurate throughout the normal speed ranges. My 2013 ES300h OBD reads about 2 mph slow in most common speeds & over 2 1/2 mph slow in the 80 mph range. The analog speedometer reads about 1 mph fast at 60, 1/4 mph at 70 & right on at 80 mph. It is also nearly 2 mph at town/residential speeds. Those errors are checked with a special precision certified GPS, which agrees with three Garmin GPSs & one NAVDY. The precision will read in hundredths, but lots of movement when read at more than tenths of mph.

The current RX350's get a digital speedometer when equipped with the F-Sport package.
The 2019 ES350 will apparently be offered for the first time as an F-Sport... Maybe...Digital Speedo ES?...
